At Made With Local we are raising the bar on sustainable snacking by creating delicious, nourishing foods.

We are the Canadian leader in premium snack foods with an ethical supply chain. We are a female-led certified B-Corp, and are currently available online and in 2500+ retail stores in Canada.

Their Real Food Bars and Granola Bar Mixes are handmade at social enterprise production bakeries, using nourishing, real-food Canadian ingredients. Made with Local was started at a Halifax farmer’s market in 2012 and now their Real Food Bars and Granola Bar Mixes can be found at over 1000 grocery stores across Canada.

Sheena Russell is founder and CEO of Made with Local, a Maritimes-based snack foods company that creates simple, nourishing foods with social impact, baked-in.

Andrew Russell (Leaders Forum 8)

Andrew Russell is a 2008 Olympian (double finalist 5th and 6th), 2014 MBA (Sobeys School President), Founder FANFIT Canada’s Olympic Fitness Challenge 2013-2016, Executive Director ADCKC 2017-2019, Made With Local Chief Growth Officer (present). Proud father to Ruthie and Thea, and partner to Sheena. Enjoys volunteering time in business and sport, and active sport enthusiast.

Holly Bond

Holly is a dynamic leader with over two decades of experience building and managing successful teams in diverse sectors, including the Ocean, Health and Wellness/Life Sciences, and entrepreneurial ventures which includes founding Bulldog Interactive Fitness Inc.®, the first fitness facility designed exclusively for youth, using video games to get them fit.

Bulldog garnered international recognition and achieved impressive success. She went on to launch a wind energy company in Atlantic Canada, helped the city sell Halifax to the world, and was the Chief Strategy Officer at The Rounds, where she helped secure their Series A funding. Leveraging her entrepreneurial and people skills, she launched Facet by Royer Thompson, a refreshing new concept in recruiting.

Holly has earned numerous awards and recognitions for her contributions to business and sustainability. She currently serves on the board of the Canada Games Centre and is a former board member of the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission. Holly is also a facilitator with the Executive Leaders Forum and actively engages as a business coach and advisor.
